Marcial Conza was born in Arequipa Peru. His work is referred to as New Realism, an ample term which includes many varieties of art from hyper-realism, Photo realism, to the socialist or expressionist realism.

Conza's work beautifully and skillfully captures simple, clean compositions in classic traditional form. The subjects are generally native to his country, traditional cloths over which he, in most cases puts the principal elements, such as fruit, vegetables, pottery, lamps.

He works with only sunlight because it offers warmth and realism, inducing the viewer to share this world we know to be recreated and ideal, but which we find so familiar.

Marcial Conza exhibits internationally and is in private and corporate collections across the globe.
